For that, I spoke with Mahesh Somani, who currently works for eBay as distinguished engineer. It is a rather difficult topic to cover and I had fun talking to Mahesh and hope you will enjoy it too.

Friends,

I had a chat with Prashant Pund and it was a nice intro chat on an influential topic for software engineers - Design Patterns. Though it is hard to do justice to any topic over audio podcasts, Prakash did explain the "why" behind patterns, and it made a lot of sense. He runs his own firm called AgileSoft Methodologies. He did mention a couple of books and websites that could be a very good start to learn patterns.

Note: The audio quality of this podcast is not all that great, but it settles down after a few minutes so please do bear with us.

cheers !
